Matt qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Liverpool. Since graduating Matt has gone on to work as a Physiotherapist with various high-performance clients including BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, The Royal Opera House, English National Ballet and Professional Rugby teams.

Matt has also worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in the private sector, in both Northern Ireland and Harley Street, London. These experiences have given Matt the opportunity to hone and develop specialist musculoskeletal skills for the treatment of professional athletes to members of the public alike. Clinically, Matt takes a hands-on approach to treatment and is thorough in his assessment to ensure the patient is treated holistically and the root of the problem is identified.

He also has post-graduate training in trigger point dry needling, pilates, fitness instruction and laryngeal/vocal physiotherapy, which is a specialist skillset only a few physiotherapists within the United Kingdom are qualified in. Matt's main clinical interests lie in the treatment of sport's injuries and this is reflected in his formulation of strength and conditioning preventative programmes as well as return to sport rehabilitation programmes.

Outside of Physiotherapy, Matt is a keen sportsman himself, having played rugby to a high level in the past. Travelling, going to the gym, as well as spending time with his friends and family are also things Matt enjoys doing in his spare time.
