Personal Training Session

Whilst using standard resistance training machines normally found in gyms may offer some benefits it must be considered they may be of limited in their use for functional training.

Their fixed axis to movement patterns rarely mimics natural movements, and they focus the effort on a single muscle group, rather than engaging the stabilizers and peripheral muscles.

Certain conventional machines could in fact restrict movements to a single plane of motion, which is an unnatural form of movement for the body and may potentially lead to faulty movement patterns or injury.

A tailored personal training session can include:

  • Warm up
  • Dynamic warm up
  • Multiplanar warm up
  • Pulse raiser
  • Flexibility (Specific)
  • Sport specific conditioning
  • Movement corrective exercises
  • Cardiovascular training
  • Core training
  • Balance training
  • TRX suspension training
  • Kettlebells
  • Boxercise
  • Kickboxercise
  • Indian Club swinging
  • Resistance training (Integrated whole body exercises)
